Arguments for/against evolution in class

Pro Evolution:

- Opens up students minds

- Shows the scientific worlds point of view

- Another perspective

- Thought- Provoking

Against Evolution:

-Against the bible

-might question faith

-parents dont agree with it

-it should be up tot he parents weither or not the parents should allow (Permission Slip?)

Inherit the wind

Another book I see people defending what they belived was "The Crucible" with John Proctor at the end of the book just like how the odds were against Drummond, the odds were against Proctor when he was trying to show people what he belived wasn't wrong even though because of the mental block people refused to see it his way. It's also seen in Thoreau's writings where he telling us not to be confided to the everyday things of society and unconform to truly be ourselves.
