Defintion:
Exaggeration-represent (something) as being larger, greater, better, or worse than itreally is

Incongruity- not in harmony or keeping with the surroundings or other aspects of something

Reversal-a change to an opposite direction, position, or course of action

Parody-an imitation of the style of a particular writer, artist, or genre with deliberate exaggeration for comic effect


Watch the clips from Skrek 2 and identify examples of the following characteristics:

Exaggeration- Sleeping Beauty
Incongruity- Skreak and Fiona as ogars.

Journal 3

--Chapter 5: “I had shut the door.... I never seen such a son.”

From the fear I saw in huck's voice from the voice I came up with as I read the lines it's as almost he was fearful
of his father which If has me believe that Mark Twain had a harsh type of dad(43). As from the father's point of
view personally I don;t see why he would want his son to do well because I always thought that you would want
your children to have a better life than you. Yet, I see how he could be angered and it's not that he's so angrey at
Huck for doing well but that he feels like its a reminder that he could of does something with his life and try to get
an education but he didn't.
